But after all, we’re humans, aren’t we ? With all the huge steps taken by mankind, for and against, making great progress and advancements and waging deadly wars, after all, we’re Humans, aren’t we ? Now when the little Virus has proved to us, that compassion just might be the most Beautiful thing that resides in our species, we act upon it. Expressing Gratitude and making love to each other, realising now, that such a use consciousness might just make this Mother Nature more beautiful than she already is. And yet, the same consciousness, doesn’t allow us to be SIMPLE, does it ? We want constant excitement. We want to hear heroic and glorious stories. Somewhere inside, if we are in a safe zone, a part of us wants more destruction in the warzone, if that destruction doesn’t affect us directly. We want valour. We want something that could be talked for centuries to come, even if we don’t live to hear it talked about. We want to bang utensils and disturb the harmony, when we, all of us are completely able to fill the atmosphere with Music and Harmony. No, we don’t want Simplicity. We Secretly wish for it when we see the birds and animals and trees around us, but we would hate it the moment we attain it, because after all, we’re humans aren’t we ?
Looking at the trees shedding their leaves, and blooming again with flowers and green leaves, we would hardly adore the simplicity of this yearly routine. Instead we talk of something like, how necessary it is to get up and fight again even after we have lost everything. To start fresh just like the trees do. Well, no, trees are just doing and being as they’re meant to be and do. It’s kind of a beautiful exaggeration to construct ethical set of values and moral advises from this simple act of trees. But then again, we really love exaggeration, don’t we ?
It’s funny that, I’m writing all of this down and yet, after all, I am a human too. If you ask me what would I want, to jump in the pool from 50ft or a 100ft, I’d definitely go for the 100ft. For then, I’d have something glorious to add into the plain conversations I’ll have with other humans. Pretty vague. Pretty Absurd. Pretty Glorious.
To love Magnanimously, or to hate to the point of Passion,To either constantly try to be a part of something larger than life, Or to be depressed about not being a part of it,To constantly be in pursuit of glory,Or to cry about the mundane simplicity,To try to make our lives a beautiful story, Or to whine about its plainness.
Oh, how funny and silly all of this is. If we just give it a shot, we too can be in perfect oneness with the simplicity of the Nature, but then again, as I read somewhere, that justifies all of the things that we do, that we are here to be Beautifully Human. And that’s what we are after all, aren’t we, Humans !
