When me and husband bought our home, I was excited as well as disappointed. I always wanted lots of green around me, my own garden where I can also grow vegetable for our kitchen along with the rest of the flora. My flat had a very little place left for plants as its relatively small home.
Once we settled, I started all kinds of research to make appropriate arrangements for my much-coveted garden. And here I am now after 2 years with my own tomatoes, 2 varieties of chilli, ladies finger, brinjal and curry leaves. Recent additions are the coriander leaves and mint leaves. Other than these beauties I have aloe-vera, Basil and Indian Borage.
From my story I wanted to tell you that, it doesn’t matter if you don’t have so many things. It is just that if you really want to do something you can find a way. When I sit near my plants and look at them, I see their beauty in myself. It is like someone said – “Don’t wait for someone to bring you flowers. Plant your own garden and decorate your soul.”
